Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant findings or concerns to management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform repairs on various types of equipment
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems and performing basic electrical repairs
- Experience with logic controllers and other automated systems is highly desirable
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices, including HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
